Within a short while diving with oxygen-enriched air (NITROX) will be the most widely used type of diving. You feel less tired after repetitive dives, and you can increase the non-decompression times and shorten the surface intervals which are the main advantages of diving with these gas mixtures. You will need a certification for this discipline.

This is one of the most spectacular specialities you can learn. You will learn to identify the principal characteristics and special safety measures you will have to observe when wreck or underwater debris diving, the different navigation techniques, the use of the reel and line, dive torches and extra air tanks, diving in reduced visibility and maybe penetration into spaces without direct access to the surface.

With a structure completely different from the other courses, this one doesn’t require a specific minimum age nor is it aimed only at divers. It provides information on how to carry out basic life support and first aid procedures, which can be useful until the arrival of a medical emergency team. In this course you will learn and realise the importance of being able to apply this knowledge in many situations, including diving.

The SSI course counts as a speciality. They give you the basic information on diving while paying more attention to others. With many pool and sea exercises, including participating in simulated rescues you will feel much more confident in your ability to help if you or others are ever in difficulties.
